Here I am, calculating. I approach this with apprehension, as with any new creation. I want to make it right- to perfectly encapsulate the things I wish to share, expressing fully every element that makes up my journey. My approaching trip to Spain has prompted the creation of this recording, though it is something I have had in mind for some time now. Isn't it a wonder how it often takes definite plans and requirements to push us to do the things we want to do but simply don't, and for no good reason? Just this week I have repeated many times in my mind- simply waiting for something bigger to happen is not the way to do it. This has been because my brother has encountered health problems this week which he is lucky were not worse than they currently are. Had he waited for something "bigger," he may not be waiting for long. I am thankful that he is alright and has his family to care for him.
So, this is not a first entry, but rather an invocation and inscription to the journey of life I am trying to ground in something common and shareable, to make a history of life.
I dedicate this blog to the most amazing and beautiful woman in the world. She is beautiful, inside and out, and embodies what it means to "be love." I carry her with me everywhere, despite the miles that separate us, because our spirits are the same- with every place I go, trinket I find, and meal I savor, I send the pure delight and enjoyment of the experience with her.
